Farmer South Is on Facebook

And so this blog begins its gradual domination of the internet. Today, Facebook. Tomorrow, the world. You can become a fan by clicking the Farmer South profile badge on the right-hand column.

I’ve added a video from the Athens Farmers Market’s 2009 season to the Facebook page. It can also be seen at Rural Pen, a less-used, often under-construction, but highly-recommended companion to this site.

With spring announcing its arrival in the first thunderstorms of 2010, social networking seemed to be the best way to spend the afternoon.  The warm weather can’t get here soon enough. For one, I’m looking forward to getting outside and losing a canoe. Or maybe just sitting on a sandbar, sliding my toes inside the cool sand.
